In January 2011, the team acted on behalf of a pheasant beater who was injured during the course of a shoot. The beater was sent out to raise the pheasants in very poor weather conditions. Whilst walking in a wooded area, a tree was blown down by gale force winds and struck the pheasant beater with a consequence that he suffered a nasty injury. The team were in a position to successfully argue that the pheasant beater should not have been sent out to work in those gale force conditions. This argument was successful and the claim settled for a significant sum in January 2011.See also section on Personal Injury Litigation.
