Ernest Cantillon graduated from University College, Cork, with a BCL Degree, he then studied with the Law Society in Dublin and qualified as a Solicitor in 1980.
During his career, Ernest Cantillon’s expertise has been recognised by his own profession by his appointment or election to the following positions:
- Council Member of the Law Society of Ireland
- Chairman of the Litigation Committee of the Law Society of Ireland
- President of the Southern Law Association
- Member of the Solicitors’ Disciplinary Tribunal
- Appointed by the Minister for Justice to a Committee which advised the Minister on the qualifications of Judges.
Ernest Cantillon is a Litigation Solicitor who has been involved in a large number of ground-breaking precedent setting cases.
