Advisors to Prison Officers
If you are Prison Officer and have sustained injuries during the course of your duties you may be entitled to bring an application to the Criminal Injuries Compensation Tribunal. We at Ernest J Cantillon Co. have many years experience in processing such claims. We have a department dedicated to this area. There are certain criteria that have to be met in order to qualify for the Scheme and we can guide you through this. It is important to note that there are time limits within which applications can be lodged and the current time limit is a period of three months. The Tribunal has a discretion to extend the time but it is better to get in within the timescale as the Tribunal may also refuse to extend the time.
