In February 2011, the team represented a householder who sued his Engineer. The brief circumstances were that the householder bought his house on the basis of a report that he obtained from his Engineer. The report indicated that the house was in good condition. It turned out that the house was structurally unsound and in fact had to be demolished. A very satisfactory settlement was achieved providing for the cost of demolishing the house and re-building it, together with compensation for the upset and inconvenience caused and the legal costs. This settlement was achieved in February 2011.
