Aisling O'Leary
Aisling O’Leary graduated from University College Cork with an honours BCL degree in 1981 and thereafter studied with the Law Society in Dublin. Having qualified as a Solicitor in 1985, she worked in law firms in the United States, London and two other Cork firms prior to joining Ernest J Cantillon & Co in 1997.
Aisling works in our general litigation department specialising in professional negligence actions, particularly concerning conveyancing & property law matters.

Órla Phelan
Órla Phelan graduated with a B.A. degree in Law & European Studies from the University of Limerick in 1996. Thereafter, she obtained a post-graduate Master’s law degree from UCC in 1997. She was admitted as a solicitor in 2001 and joined the firm in 2002 where she initially worked primarily in education and disability law.
Órla now works in the Litigation Department focusing on general litigation cases whilst also having a special interest in employment law.

Mary Scriven
Mary Scriven graduated from University College Cork with a BCL degree in 1999, she then studied with the Law Society in Dublin and qualified as a Solicitor in 2003. She has been employed by the firm since 1994 and works in the firm’s litigation department.

Pat Daly
Pat's first professional career was as a nurse. She became a State Registered Nurse in 1981 and after further study, secured various English National Board Certificates in Intensive Care and Cardiac Nursing. She held nursing posts at various Intensive Care Units in the London Area and became Senior Sister in Intensive Care in 1987.
Subsequently, she obtained her Law Degree with Honours in 1992 and then passed her solicitors final examinations in 1993. She served her training period thereafter with a firm in London and continued with that firm until October 2006.
Pat's combined knowledge of nursing and law has been an advantage and led to her specialising in Medical Negligence and Personal Injury work. Pat joined the firm in November 2006 as a part of the Medical Negligence department.

Susie Elliott
Susie Elliott graduated from University College Cork with an honours BCL Law Degree in 2002. She gained extensive and valuable experience in a private client litigation firm in Manhattan, New York and two other Cork firms prior to joining Ernest J. Cantillon & Company in 2005. Susie qualified as a Solicitor in 2007. She works in the firm's medical-litigation department.

Cliona Kenny
Clíona Kenny graduated from the University of Limerick with an Honours B.A. in Law and European Studies and worked as a Legal Executive in a highly regarded firm in the Midlands for four years gaining extensive experience in all areas of litigation.
On joining Ernest Cantillon & Co Solicitors in October 2004 as a trainee solicitor, Clíona worked in the Education Department and Medical Negligence Department as well as dealing with various litigation cases.

Karen Kearney
Karen Kearney graduated from University College Dublin with an Honours B.C.L. Degree in 1992. Thereafter, Karen studied at the Law Society in Dublin and qualified as a Solicitor in 1996.
She has worked with a number of law firms in Limerick and Cork where she acquired extensive experience in all areas of litigation, employment law, family law and commercial law. Karen joined the firm in November 2009 and works in the Medical Negligence department.
