The Litigation team acted on behalf of a woman who suffered severe psychological injuries as a result of a failure on the part of her employers to comply with an agreement entered into. The employers were to comply with various terms and conditions. The background was that the woman had been bullied at work. She went out on sick leave. An investigation was carried out into her grievances. A mediated settlement was entered into, which provided a return to work in a particular role. The employer failed to provide employment in the agreed role, resulting in injuries and significant losses to the woman. Liability was contested but a significant settlement was secured for the woman in March 2014.
