We have provided advice to all ranks of An Garda Siochána for over 30 years.
We provide advice to members of An Garda Síochána in all areas, including:
If you are a member of An Garda Síochána and have sustained an injury during the course of your duties, you may be entitled to compensation. If, for example, you were assaulted during the course of your duties, you may be entitled to bring a claim under the Garda Síochána Compensation Acts. If you are involved in a road traffic accident during the course of your duties you may be entitled to bring an Injuries Board and/or court application for compensation.
If you are injured at work, as a member of An Garda Síochána, you may be entitled to be compensated.
We have a team dedicated to advise members of An Garda Síochána. We have represented and advised all ranks. We have succeeded in obtaining for our clients substantial damages.
There are time limits within which applications for compensation must be brought. Under the Garda Síochána Compensation Acts, the time limit is three months. If an Injuries Board application is to be brought or court proceedings to be launched, it is generally speaking two years. However, the time limits may be shorter or longer depending on the circumstances. If you have sustained an injury during the course of your work, you should contact us at Cantillons Solicitors at +353 (0)21 -4275673 or [email protected].
* In contentious business, a Solicitor may not calculate fees or other charges as a percentage or proportion of any award or settlement. Many Personal Injury Solicitors portray themselves as no win no fee Solicitors. This terms can be misleading and it is essential that you discuss fees with the Personal Injury Solicitor you ultimately choose. At Cantillons Solicitors, we are entirely transparent.
